Enjoy the outdoors on the NCR and Gunpowder
Since 1992, Monkton Bike and Tube has provided friendly outdoor biking, kayaking and tubing fun for thousands of folks from around the world.
The NCR Trail & Gunpowder river are free to use by the general public. Hours of operation are 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset, 365 days per year. No overnight parking allowed.
Monkton Bike and Tube works with schools, churches, youth groups, scouts, birthday parties and wedding parties. Also, tubing is on us if it's your birthday (present proof before renting).

Please note: There has been an increase in single occupant parking in the area so far this year which has had an impact on parking availability as the day gets later. Please do your best to carpool. There is a park and ride at the 83 exit if you take that route to arrive. This is especially going to be true on weekends so if at all possible plan to come early on a weekday this summer if possible. Note that parking along the hotel side of the lot and back lot is provided for tenants of the hotel and patrons of the cafe who are picking up something quick to eat. Towing is enforced.
